Daughter of the Marquis of Moravi, she married the Duke of Poland, and educated their six children in a holy manner; then she induced her husband to take a vow of perpetual continence. Her husband died, she took the habit of Oblate in the Cistercian monastery, where her daughter Gertrude was Abbess; There she lived consecrated with heroic acts of humility and charity. She is the heavenly Patroness of Poland.
