Confessor

The human seraphim, who burned in love of the crucified Christ, the husband of holy poverty, the founder of three Orders: that of Friars Minor, that of Poor Ladies (Poor Clares) and the Third Order for penance of the laity; He is one of the Saints for whom God has most abundantly blessed his Church and the world. Let us celebrate his feast in thanksgiving, and beg him to gave us the strenght to disregard earthly goods.

V/. St. Francis of Assisi.
R/. Pray for us.
