Bishop and Confessor

He was Bishop of Mira in Lycia, and attended the ecumenical Council of Nicea. With alms he endowed three maiden sisters whose virtue was in danger. He shone with the gift of miracles, singularly in delivering from fire. His relics were transferred to Bari, Italy.
