Widow
From a noble family, she felt inclined to religious life since she was a child; but her parents married her when she was eleven years old, and she lived in marriage holy until fifty-one. With permission from her husband, she founded the House of the Oblates, and as a widow, she embraced religious life among them. She gave good example in Rome with her humility and charity, and she enjoyed extraordinary familiarity with her Guardian Angel.
