Catholic Feast
The Church today celebrates the Relics of the Saints that are venerated in their own Churches. The altar of each altar carries a sepulcher, where relics are kept. There are infinity of relics in the churches, most worthy of all veneration, since the bodies of the Saints served their souls as instruments for the exercise of penance and other virtues; many of them suffered death for Christ, and all will one day be resurrected to immortal and glorious life. God himself honors them, sometimes working great wonders through them.
