Catholic Feast
Quis ut Deus? “Who is like God?”
With this courageous proclamation of divine rights over every creature, as with a fiery sword, Saint Michael and his angels drove Satan and his minions from heaven. Today the Church celebrates Saint Michael and all the heavenly militia that fought at his command for the glory of God. This feast is called the Dedication of Saint Michael, because on such a day as today a temple in his name was dedicated in Rome.
V/. Saint Michael the Archangel.
R/. Pray for us.
