Catholic Feast

Christ was born for us: come, let us adore him! The Word eternally begotten by the Father amidst the splendor of holiness, is reclining in the Manger, a newborn Child of the virginal womb of Mary. This stupendous mystery is ordered to sanctify the Christian people.

Saint Luke describes the circumstances of time and place of the holy Nativity, and the glorious manifestation of it to the Shepherds, and ends with the singing of the Angels:

“Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will.”

Luke 2:14

V/. Jesus Christ, true God and true Man.
R/. Pray for us.

To increase devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, it is advisable to pray daily the 15 mysteries of the Rosary.
