Confessor
Born in Torre Hermosa (Zaragoza), he was a shepherd in his teens. At the age of twenty he entered the Franciscan Order as a layman. “He excelled among the saints who most loved the Eucharist.” While he was present at his own funeral Mass, he opened his eyes twice to adore the Sacrament at the elevation of the Host and the chalice. He is heavenly Patron of the Eucharistic Congresses and Associations.
