Bishop and Martyr

Son of a Gentile father and a Jewish mother, he accompanied Saint Paul on his apostolic trips, which left him as Bishop of Ephesus, and wrote him two letters, exhorting him to heroically fulfill the episcopal ministry. Timothy fulfilled as good, until he shed his blood for Christ.
