Confessor and Doctor

Dominican friar, almost an angel, no less for the sublimity of his intelligence than for the purity and holiness of his soul, is one of the highest peaks of human reason and divine science. To confront the errors of anti-Christian philosophy, Leo XIII made him a heavenly Patron of Catholic schools.
Beautiful is science, especially divine science, which searches the nature of God: much more precious than all treasures. Saint Thomas received it from heaven and generously communicates it in his great writings.

V/. Saint Thomas Aquinas
R/. Pray for us.
