Her noble house in Rome had the honor of hosting Saint Peter and his successors. Saint Práxedes survived her sister Santa Pudenciana and devoted herself to consoling, helping and strengthening the martyrs in the persecution. She died of grief when she saw the sufferings of the Saints, when Antoninus was emperor.
