She was the founder of the Society of the Sacred Heart, she governed her Institute for more than sixty years, and infused her spirit of vigorous piety and generous apostolate in the education of female youth; She spread it throughout Europe and America, and upon her death she had founded 400 Houses with 4000 nuns.
