Confessor

From his childhood he undertook the path of holiness, and made himself respected by his companions for the prestige of his chastity. He embraced religious life in the Franciscan Order, in which he was a distinguished preacher and missionary, who pacified the cities of Italy by spreading devotion to the Most Holy Name of Jesus. He died holy at the age of sixty-six, in the year 1444.
