Saint Titus, February 6th

Bishop and Confessor

He was a disciple of Saint Paul, who named him Bishop of Crete, and addressed him a wonderful letter, full of precious advice on the pastoral charge. He passed away in holy old age. In many Masses, mainly those of Saints consecrated to apostolic life, today’s Gospel is read, which recounts the mission of the 72 disciples. The advice that Christ gives them is similar to what he gave the Apostles in his first mission.

V/. Saint Titus
R/. Pray for us.
